EkoReka 2026: jump into the river of adventure along the Pšata

On Saturday, 6 June 2026, the meadow alongside the tree-lined avenue in the Mengeš Sports Park will once again come alive with EkoReka – a festival dedicated to the Pšata River, nature, and the shared exploration of riverside environments.

Visitors of all ages can look forward to a variety of activities, including a fish trail, creative workshops, hands-on exploration of aquatic life, and opportunities to learn about fish, birds, pollinators, and other species that inhabit riverine ecosystems. The programme will also feature a musical performance by Uroš and Tjaša Steklasa, as well as culinary experiences prepared by Jure Kirbiš and Matic Maček.

The event will take place from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Admission is free of charge.
