We will build knowledge about river ecosystem restoration and the use of nature-based solutions, as well as foster collaboration among experts from various disciplines, through training, workshops, webinars, an international summer student camp, and a three-day international congress “Life to Rivers.”
We will strengthen trust and collaboration among decision-makers, government, the academy, the economy, and civil society organizations through field excursions and the establishment of a new model of interdisciplinary cooperation that will set professional and ethical standards for river management.
We will encourage the process of co-creative river stewardship and the use of nature-based solutions in the Pšata catchment and beyond, through public awareness events, workshops to engage local communities in the process of preparing restoration plans for the Pšata and Pesnica rivers, and the development of an educational program for conducting experiential field workshops in schools.
